I have now officially become addicted to Round Table pizza. Since we haven't had a chance to do much grocery shopping (and I left all of my cooking utensils in Stockton), we've been buying all of our meals (EXPENSIVE!). Our options for lunch are Burger King, Gordito Burrito (which Jake refuses to go to because of the debit charge), and Round Table ... so Round Table it's been for three days. The woman who works during the lunch hour is starting to get to know us - especially considering we've gotten the same thing every day.
The highlight of today was the important office poll - well two actually. First, we had to test four different highlighter-pens. The battle was fierce, but option two finally took the prize (my favorite). About two hours later, we got to vote again ... on table cloths. Here's my question: Why don't we do important things like this in the HGLO? Wanda? Hmm?
Today my workload picked up quite a bit. Leanna and I had a meeting over coffee (well, tea for her) and when I left I had a list of things to do - which was really exciting as most of my time the last few days has been spent working on Pacific projects (though this isn't necessarily a bad thing; I have almost completed my program proposal that is due to Mylon on Monday). I'm now the contact person for Move-in ... I'm getting to know everyone on campus (at least everyone important - haha), it's pretty fabulous.
Tomorrow is our first SOAL staff meeting. What to wear? Also ... when is it acceptable to wear jeans to the office?
